# BioApps at Scoliosis Awareness Day, UMMC

On Sunday, 20th of August 2017, University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) held an event called Scoliosis Awareness Day. The theme for the event was ” Let’s All Join Together To Raise Awareness For Scoliosis”.

The event started at 8:00 a.m. with Registration and Breakfast followed by a welcoming speech and an opening ceremony by Professor Madya Chris Chan Yin Wei.

After the opening ceremony, numerous speakers from various institutes and health centres, including Bioapps, shared their knowledge with the audience on various topics related to scoliosis.

Bioapps Sdn Bhd was represented by one of its CPO, Ms. Noor Asliza Ahmad, who are actively producing body brace for Bioapps Sdn Bhd, especially the Custom Made Cheneau Brace. Ms. Noor Asliza shared Tips and Pearls on Proper Brace Wearing Technique with the audience during her 15-minute session on that day.

The half day event ended with a 30-minute question and answer session and lunch at 12:30 p.m.
