# Ellie's New Leg for 2020

Ellie received the 6th prosthesis from Bioapps sponsored by Exim bank on Monday 17 August 2020. RTM, Malaysia’s main media covered the memorable event for Ellie this year.

Ellie has grown beautifully and healthily, thanks to her caretakers in Kuala Gandah. Mr. Fuad and Mr. Suri are the ones helping Bioapps with Ellie’s fittings and measurements, every time the Bioapps Team goes there to meet Ellie when she needs her prosthesis changed every 6 months.

This time around, Ellie’s prosthesis is made by our CPO, Mr. Saiful Syazwan Mohd Fazil since our previous CPO who works on Ellie’s prosthesis Mr. Irfan Ali is still in Pakistan because of the Movement Control Order, exercised by our caring government.

However, Ellie’s prosthesis is our lifelong commitment and we truly thank EXIM Bank and Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary for being our committed partners for these 3 years, since 2018 for this project.

We hope we will bring happiness to Ellie’s soul and wellbeing and may this love for nature spreads to all visitor that comes to visit Ellie in her home in Kuala Gandah.
